(WEATHERFORD, TX.) – For the first time in 20 years, Parker County has a new county judge.  Former Hudson Oaks Mayor Pat Deen has officially been sworn in to the post once held by Mark Riley.

Riley, who lost the job to Deen in the March primary election, was supposed to stay in office through the end of the year, but abruptly announced his immediate resignation over Labor Day weekend.  Deen says he plans to focus on economic growth and transportation issues in Parker County.
