(BELLMEAD, TX) – Police say a Waco area girl has been found safe after an Amber Alert was issued this morning for 11 year old Katelynn Marie Maldonado and a 16 year old girl they believed had abducted the child.

Bellmead Police cancelled the alert within a couple hours saying that Katelynn had been located, however no other information was given.
