(Dallas, TX)  —  The State Fair of Texas begins today.

Gates open at 10 a.m. at Fair Park in Dallas.  All active-duty military, retired military and veterans receive free admission today with valid documentation of their service.  Spouses of military personnel with a valid spouse ID, as well as accompanying children under 18 also get in free.  Everyone else can get in for half price by bringing a 20-ounce Dasani water or other Coca-Cola product to donate to the North Texas Food Bank.

The fair runs through October 21st.
