(STEPHENVILLE, TX) – Tarleton State University’s Agricultural Center is set to receive nearly $11 million in improvements, including funding for a new multipurpose Animal & Plant Sciences Center at the Stephenville campus.
The 42,000 square ft facility at the College Farm will be made up of six state-of-the-art laboratories for teaching every aspect of animal and plant science. Construction is expected to be mostly complete by May 2019. The funding from the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents will also include money for repairs and upgrades to existing Ag facilities damaged in a 2016 tornado.
