(Waxahachie, TX) — The newly-built Waxahachie High School is damaged after a tornado touched down Saturday.
The National Weather Service confirmed the EF-0 tornado. It was among several that occurred this weekend, including two in Hill County. Damage to the high school includes shattered windows and a busted door. The campus was closed today. The school district posted to Facebook today that crews are on site to clean-up and make repairs. They plan to resume classes tomorrow.
