(Johnson County, TX) — A Johnson County driver is expected to be OK after being rescued from flood waters.
The woman’s car was stuck in high water west of Pat Cleburne Lake yesterday morning, after getting washed off the roadway. A Firefighter was able to rescue the woman from her partially submerged car and carry her back to dry land. Many roads in the Cleburne area were closed yesterday due to flooding. Portions of North Texas remain under a flood watch today.
The National Weather Service says widespread rain will continue today which may lead to additional flooding from the Comanche area through the southern portions of the Metroplex into East Texas.
