(Dallas, TX) — The Sears bankruptcy is affecting several stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

More than 140 Sears stores are closing nationwide, nine of them in Texas, including three stores in North Texas.  President Trump commented on the closures saying the news makes him sad because Sears was a big deal when he was growing up.

Liquidation sales are expected to begin within the next two weeks.
