(FORT WORTH, TX) – “Affluenza Mom” Tonya Couch has been released once again from the Tarrant County jail.
Couch was put back in jail June after testing positive for methamphetamine. The 51-year-old Couch is accused of helping her son Ethan, flee to Mexico in 2015, after he violated probation on his 2013 Intoxication Manslaughter conviction that earned him the nickname “Affluenza Teen”. Tonya Couch is charged with hindering the apprehension of a felon and money laundering over the trip to Mexico. She was arrested in 2016 with bond set at $75,000 but has been in and out of jail for drug and alcohol violations.
Tonya Couch’s trial is set for November.
