(FORT WORTH, TX) — Early voter turnout in North Texas is still far surpassing previous midterm elections.
In Denton, and Tarrant Counties, the number of ballots cast on the second day of early voting was more than three times the number of second-day early voting in the 2014 midterms. Two of the higher profile candidates are appearing in North Texas. Incumbent Republican Senator Ted Cruz was in Dallas Wednesday for a campaign rally. His Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke will be in North Texas Friday and Saturday.
Early voting continues through November 2nd. Election Day is November 6th.
