(Arlington, TX) — The candidates in the Texas Senate race talked about the bombs that were sent to high-profile Democrats this week, during campaign stops in North Texas.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz was in Arlington Thursday, while Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke appeared in Midlothian and then again, this morning in North Fort Worth. The latest numbers from the University of Texas/Texas Tribune Poll shows O’Rourke lagging behind Cruz 51% to 45%.
