(FORT WORTH, TX) — Today, jurors will continue deliberating the sentence for a Cleburne mom convicted of trying to starve her son to death.
Last Friday, 42 year old Danita Tutt was found guilty of faking illnesses for her son and withholding food and water from him. Prosecutors say Tutt managed to convince doctors to perform unneeded surgeries on her son, Colby.
Tutt is facing probation to life in prison. Jurors already told the judge in the case they’re having trouble reaching a unanimous decision on a sentence.
