(WEATHERFORD, TX) – We now know the cause of a tragic accident that took the life of two teachers early Sunday morning in Parker County.

According to the Department of Public Safety, investigators believe it was fatigue that caused 28-year-old Jeremy Bowen to lose control of his car and send it down a ravine sometime between midnight and 1am Sunday on I-20 west of Weatherford.  Bowen was the Choir Director at Granbury High School.  Also killed in the accident was 26-year-old Ashley Morrison, a music teacher at Hoover Elementary School in Azle.  The DPS says the couple had left an event in Stephenville and were driving back to Fort Worth.

Both Morrison and Bowen graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
