(Austin, TX) — Texans have until a week from today to get the political signs out of their yards.

State law says political signs can’t go up earlier than 90 days before an election and have to be removed within ten days after the election. The state says homeowners’ associations can’t pass rules to prevent property owners from putting the signs in their yards. The law has rules governing the size, shape, number, and content of political signs. But in any case, they all have to be picked up by next Friday.
