(Granbury, TX) – The of city of Granbury has hired a director for the new Convention and Visitors Bureau created last month, after the Granbury City Council voted to stop funding the now disbanded Visit Granbury, Inc.
The Hood County News reports Tammy Dooley has been tapped to lead the new CVB. Dooley, who has long worked in the tourism industry, lives in Pecan Plantation. A press release from the city says Dooley “has extensive experience in public event venue marketing management along with event promotions.” She also has years of experience in hotel convention sales and marketing, according to the city.
