Man found burned to death in East Fort Worth

(Fort Worth, TX)  —  Fort Worth police are investigating the death of a homeless man.  The man’s charred body was discovered yesterday morning behind a vacant building on North Beach Street near McComas.  Firefighters believe the man may have started flames to keep warm but didn’t reveal how he ended up in the fire.  Foul play is not suspected.

(Fort Worth, TX) – A man was found dead and burned early Wednesday morning, behind a strip shopping center in East Fort Worth.

The Fort Worth Fire Department responded to a call about a burn victim at the shopping center on N. Beach Street and McComas Rd. shortly before 8am.  According to the Star Telegram, a preliminary police report indicated a man came into a business and reported he had pulled another man out of a fire.

No other injuries were reported.
