(Midlothian, TX) — Two suspects are in custody after trying to carjack a gun owner in Midlothian.

Mike Panther was in his car outside the Brookshire’s grocery store waiting for his wife, when Police say a 21-year-old man and 17-year-old girl got into the car and reportedly threatened to shoot Panther in the head.  Panther, a concealed carry permit holder, pulled a handgun and ran them off.  Midlothian police soon found the two inside the store and arrested them.  Neither suspect had a gun.  Both are charged with aggravated robbery and resisting arrest.
