(Azle, TX) – A large fire at a scrap metal yard near Azle sent giant plumes of black smoke rising into the air Sunday afternoon.

The fire started sometime before 3pm at 199 Recycling on the Jacksboro Highway.  Azle and several other fire departments responded to the call.  Firefighters are still on the scene this morning putting out hot spots.  No word yet on what caused the fire.  No injuries were reported.
