(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth city officials will be laying out plans to help homeowners make better preparations for flood waters.
The plan will cover parts of town that aren’t always included on FEMA’s flood plain map. Heavy rains in early fall flooded many parts of the city where drainage systems apparently can’t handle large volumes of rainfall. Fort Worth will hold two meetings this week to lay out its ten-year plan on how it will deal with areas at high risk of flooding.
