(Stephenville, TX) – Erath County commissioners have hired current County Extension Office Manager Susan Driskill to become the next emergency management coordinator, replacing Steve Cole, who is retiring at the end of the year.
According to the Stephenville Empire Tribune, Driskill was the lone finalist for the job among five applicants. She has 26 years’ experience working for the Department of Public Safety in communications and was an area manager for the agency’s statewide emergency response team. Driskill takes over January 1st.
