(Fort Worth, TX) — A U.S. District Court Judge in Fort Worth is agreeing with Republican state attorneys general that Obamacare is unconstitutional.

A coalition of 20 states, led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, argued they were harmed by the increase in the number of people on state-supported insurance rolls.  The judge ruled that the individual mandate could not be separated from the rest of the law, so when Congress repealed the individual mandate, it made Obamacare unconstitutional.

The ruling will likely face a challenge with Democrats pushing for an appeal.
