(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price says she will run for a fifth term in office.

The election is set for May 2019.  Official campaign filing doesn’t happen until January, but Price told WFAA’s inside Texas Politics over the weekend that she’d like to go a couple more years because “there’s a lot yet to be done” and that a formal announcement will be made next month.

If re-elected, Price will become Fort Worth’s longest serving Mayor.
