(Fort Worth, TX) — A former Brewer High School student is going to spend a dozen years in prison for attacking a classmate in May 2017.
19-year-old Taj Love received the 12 year sentence after admitting to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Tarrant County prosecutors say Love stabbed a 15-year-old Brewer student in the throat after asking if he stole something from a friend. The victim did survive but suffered major damage to his vocal chords.
