(Fort Worth, TX) – A section of the street collapsed in the Fort Worth entertainment district Thursday morning leaving a big sinkhole.
No injuries were reported, but Police say a woman and her Lexus ended up in the hole at West 7th and Carroll Street near Montgomery Plaza. There were reports of a water main break near the sinkhole, but the city believes it may have been caused by a problem with a storm drain.
The area is still blocked off, city crews hope to start repair work over the weekend. Part of the intersection will be blocked off through next week.
