(Dallas, TX) — The number of flu cases in North Texas is on the rise.

The Tarrant County Health Department says reported flu cases went up 40 percent during a two-week period last month, adding to above-average flu activity so far this season.  So far, the number of cases is down sharply from this time last year, and there haven’t been any deaths reported from flu this season.
