(Fort Worth, TX) – A Burleson man and a Fort Worth woman were killed when the car they were riding in collided with an 18-wheeler on an icy Oklahoma freeway.

The accident happened on an overpass of I-35, 75 miles south of Oklahoma City.  Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the car slid on the ice, struck a barrier and then the semi.  According to the Cleburne Times Review, 18-year-old Erica Womack was pronounced dead at the scene, while 24-year-old Daniel Ellison died a short time after being taken to a local hospital.

Two other young men from Fort Worth were riding in the car and were also injured in the wreck.  Neither the driver of the car, or the truck was injured.
