TP&W Begins Stocking State Waters With Rainbow Trout

(Austin, TX) — The Texas Parks and Wildlife office is stocking waters around the state with rainbow trout.

Through March, more than 300-thousand rainbow trout will be brought into Texas from a fishery in Missouri.  The fish will go to bodies of water at over 170 locations.  Those include Randol Mill Duck Pond in Arlington, River Park and Trinity Park in Fort Worth, Bailey Lake in Burleson, Glen Rose Town Lake in Glen Rose and Holland Lake Park in Weatherford.
