(Fort Worth, TX) – Police are investigating whether bones found by a work crew at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport are human skeletal remains.

According to an airport official, the contractors reported finding what appeared to be skeletal remains during a site survey near Mustang Drive and William D. Tate Avenue.  The Star Telegram says the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office and detectives with the DFW Airport Department of Public Safety are investigating.
