(Burleson, TX) – A Fort Worth man has plead guilty to a 2017 drug bust in Burleson, considered one of the largest opioid cases in North Texas.
According to the Cleburne Times Review, last June, investigators from a Johnson County special crimes unit and Burleson Police set up undercover surveillance on the suspect, 31 year old Brady Gaisser. During a search, officers discovered marijuana and one of the largest Carfentanil processing labs ever located in North Texas.
According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Carfentanil is a synthetic opioid that is 10,000 times more potent than morphine and 100 times more potent than fentanyl.
Gaisser has pled guilty to manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. He has not yet been sentenced.
