(McKinney, TX) —  A former Dallas Cowboys player is out on bond after being arrested early Monday morning for DWI and resisting arrest.

Police arrested 31-year-old former running back Darren McFadden, who was reportedly asleep at the wheel of an SUV in a Whataburger drive-through lane in McKinney.  McFadden played three seasons with the Cowboys after seven seasons with the Oakland Raiders.  His career in the NFL ended after the 2017 Dallas season.
