(Fort Worth, TX) — A Whataburger fan who raises chickens is sharing the love with her yard birds.
Trisha Ruiz agreed to move to a spread in Aledo with her husband if the place was no more than a ten-minute drive from a Whataburger, and if she could raise chickens there. Her husband built an orange-and-white “Whatacoop” for the chickens, in the fashion of Trisha’s favorite Texas burger joint.
The coop provides a space for resting, nesting and laying eggs for 15 chickens with names like Mashed Potato, Meatloaf, and Tater Tot.
