(North Richland Hills, TX) —  A wounded police dog is at home with his handler again and recovering from his injury. 

The North Richland Hills Police Department says the K-9 named Koba was caught in the crossfire between police and a suicidal man last week.  Officers wounded the suspect, but he survived.  Police say Koba’s protective vest probably saved his life.
