(Fort Worth, TX) — Two people are recovering after their small plane made an emergency landing in a field in east Fort Worth.

The single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza landed just after 4:30 p.m. yesterday near the intersection of Beach Street and Gateway Park Drive, just north of Interstate 30.  The Fort Worth Fire Department reports that the plane landed upright, and its pilot and passenger were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.  The Federal Aviation Administration says the pilot reported the plane lost power before he put it down.

The FAA says the plane is registered to a man from Tennessee.
