(Grapevine, TX) — GameStop is no longer up for sale.
The Grapevine-based video game retailer announced today it canceled plans to find a new owner because lenders were hesitant to provide financing which would be acceptable to any potential buyer. GameStop sold its almost 13-hundred AT&T Wireless stores last week for over 730-million dollars. No word on what it’s going to do with the cash. They’re also looking for a new permanent CEO after Michael Mauler’s resignation last May.
