(Austin, TX) — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and the secretary of state are investigating 95-thousand registered voters who may or may not be U.S. citizens.
The voters had provided the Department of Public Safety with documentation indicating they weren’t citizens, such as green cards or work visas. In North Texas, Collin County is among five counties that are now being told that a large number of the voters in question have since been naturalized.
The investigation continues into exactly how many of the 95-thousand voters may not be citizens.
