(Fort Worth, TX) — A Fort Worth man is going to be spending the rest of his life in prison for killing his estranged wife.
Rudy Arellano admitted to capital murder charges this week, in the 2016 kidnapping and drowning of Elizabeth Arellano. He took the woman from her parents’ home, tied her to a 119 lb. concrete slab, and threw her off the Lake Worth Bridge. Tarrant County prosecutors say they talked to Arellano’s family before signing off on the plea deal.
