(Denton, TX) — The Denton police are reporting that a DWI suspect bit off part of a police sergeant’s ear during a weekend arrest.
Officers pulled over 45-year-old Christopher Rogers late Friday night on I-35E near Parkerville Road on suspicion of DWI. Rogers reportedly refused to cooperate, and a struggle resulted. Sergeant Michael Rose suffered head injuries and had about an inch of his ear bitten off.
Rogers faces charges of DWI, resisting arrest, assault on a public servant and aggravated assault as a result.
