(El Paso, TX)  —  Beto O’Rourke will lead a rally this evening in El Paso at the same time as a Trump rally there.

Organizers said O’Rourke will join the rally to protest President Donald Trump’s plan to build a border wall.  Trump’s rally in El Paso is the first of his 2020 reelection campaign and is meant to boost support for the wall.

O’Rourke is a former congressman from El Paso who unsuccessfully challenged Republican Senator Ted Cruz last year.  Last week, O’Rourke said he would decide by the end of this month whether he’ll run for president in 2020.
