(Peaster, Tx) – The Peaster school board is considering calling for a $16 million bond election to pay for new buildings and facilities in the growing district.

The Weatherford Democrat says Peaster ISD wants to add additional classroom space by adding 2 stories onto the Junior High, with a plan to move 5th and 6th graders out of the elementary school and into the expanded Junior High.  Plans also call for the construction of a new 500 seat gymnasium and an 11,000 sq ft field house next to the stadium.

Peaster Trustees must decide by February 15th to get on the May ballot.
