(Fort Worth, TX) – Gusty winds snapped a window washing rig loose from a high-rise building in downtown Fort Worth breaking several windows in the process.

Fort Worth Firefighters responded just after 6am.  The fire department said window washing crews at the Wells Fargo Building in the 200 block of Commerce Street said a cable on the rig came loose and broke out windows on the 17th floor of the building.  No one was injured.

Fire trucks blocked off the streets around the area until the shattered glass could be cleaned up.
