(Murchison, TX)  —  A tiger rescued from an abandoned house in Houston has a new home at a North Texas animal sanctuary.

Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch in Murchison agreed to taken in the Bengal tiger.  The big cat arrived on Tuesday afternoon and is in temporary quarantine while staffers check out its health.  The tiger from Houston is the sanctuary’s third tiger among its more than 800 animals.
