(Austin, TX)  —  Two state congressmen say Texas should pay for part of the border wall.

Representatives Briscoe Cain of Deer Park and Kyle Biedermann of Fredericksburg, both Republicans, are drafting a bill that would provide more than two-billion-dollars to help design and build the wall.  They suggest that the money could come from the state’s “rainy day fund.”  Cain also says the general fund could be tapped as a source.

Texas already spends 800-million-dollars every two years on border security.
