(Irving, TX)  —  The Boys Scouts of America are conducting their annual drive to benefit dozens of food pantries in North Texas.

The 31st annual “Scouting for Food Drive” continues to the end of this month.  The Scouts have distributed plastic bags in different neighborhoods, asking people to fill them up with nonperishable food items.  They will return later to collect them.  The Irving based Boy Scouts donate about 250-thousand cans of food each year to at least 45 local food banks.
