(Palo Pinto, TX) – Citing high winds and dry conditions with no significant rainfall in sight, Palo Pinto County Commissioners have reinstated a 90 day ban on outdoor burning.
A previous burn ban had been lifted earlier this month, but lack of rainfall and dry vegetation prompted county officials to put it back in force. During the ban outdoor burning of trash, brush piles, leaves and even the use of sky lanterns is prohibited. Violating the burn ban could get you a $500 fine.
