(Granbury, Tx) – A 12-year-old Hood County boy has been charged with threatening to shoot up his school.
According to the Hood County News, the boy is a student at Granbury Middle School and reportedly posted a video last Friday on social media, saying he was the next school shooter. The boy was arrested and taken to the Hood County Juvenile Detention Center.
GISD says classes did go on as normal on Monday and that there was no existing threat to the school or students. Hood County Sheriff Roger Deeds said he hopes kids will realize that threats posted on social media will be taken seriously.
