(Arlington, Tx) – A high speed chase through two counties ended early this morning when the suspect ditched the car on I-30 in Arlington.

The pursuit started on I-20 in Weatherford around 3:30am, ran eastbound on I-30 through Fort Worth and ended when police threw out the stop sticks to puncture the tires at the Fielder exit.  The man reportedly jumped out of the car and took off running, however police say he was captured and is now in custody.

No word yet on what started the chase in Weatherford.
