(Stephenville, TX) – Officers from the Erath County Sheriff’s Office, Dublin Police Department and Stephenville PD ran raids Wednesday on several local businesses they say were engaged in illegal gambling.

According to the Sheriff’s Office the businesses included Dazu’s on US Hwy. 377, Taylors’ stores in Dublin and on Hwy. 67, and convenience stores in Morgan Mill.  Stephenville Police executed search warrants at 6 businesses within the city limits.  The raids were the result of multiple undercover operations.

Authorities say they seized gambling machines, documents and undisclosed amounts of cash from the raided businesses.
