(Weatherford, TX) – A Parker County grand jury has been indicted a 29-year-old man for the murder of a Weatherford woman and her unborn child.
Christopher Wilkerson is being charged with 2 counts of murder, one for 29-year-old Shannon Guthrie and one her unborn daughter. According to the Parker County Sheriff’s office, Guthrie has shot in the head by Wilkerson on August 5th last year during an argument that turned physical at her home on Dill Road between Weatherford and Springtown. At the time of the shooting, Guthrie was taken to a Fort Worth hospital where she and the baby died.
Prosecutors say Wilkerson is currently in jail on unrelated charges and they have issued a warrant for his arrest on the murder charges.
