(Fort Worth, TX) – Paint fumes are being blamed for an explosion at an apartment in Southwest Fort Worth.

The explosion happened around 5:00 this morning inside a unit at the Mirador Apartments on Bryant Irvin, just South of I-20.  Fort Worth Firefighters responded after getting a call about some kind of vapor leak.

The department says one person was injured in the explosion.  The man was taken to the hospital with serious burns.
