(Fort Worth, Tx) – It was all about March Madness on “Selection Sunday”, 5 Texas schools are in, but two big names were not invited to the Big Dance.

Duke, Virginia, North Carolina, and Gonzaga are the number-one seeds for the NCAA Tournament.  The Blue Devils were named the top overall seed in the field of 68.  The tournament gets going with the First Four on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Five Texas teams got an invite….Texas Tech, Baylor, Houston, Prairie View A&M and for the first time, Abilene Christian University who begins their bracket with #2 seed Kentucky.

TCU and Texas were snubbed by the NCAA but did earn spots in the NIT Tournament
