(Fort Worth, TX) — A burglary suspect is in the custody of Fort Worth police, who had to rescue him after he jumped into the Trinity River to evade capture.
The man was running from officers on Thursday afternoon when he jumped into the river, and he was soon calling for their help. After police fished him out of the river, he was taken to a hospital to be checked out. He’ll be charged with several burglaries of some local businesses.
